Other highlights:
Very good cushioning all through the midsole.
Good snug but not tight fit around the foot.
Good quality upper, with a mix of fabric and I'm guessing synthetic leather...looks nice too.
Works well for a neutral/underpronater/supinator like me.
For $39 on Amazon, this shoe was a steal, and is pretty amazing, and I'm guessing undiscovered.
Throw in a pair of Spenco Polysorb Cross Trainer, Women's 9-10 / Men's 8-9 and you're floating on cushioned air.

The Saucony Grid Raider is a great all around shoe. I have used it to run, train in the gym and just wear it casually. For running: it is light, comfortable and offers a whole lot of cushioning. For training: it places your feet firmly on the ground without the possibility of slipping. The soles are ruggedly made to adhere ground contact firmly so even if you are engaged in lifting heavy weights, you are assured of a firm foot hold. I also like the fact that it doesn't take a lot of "breaking-in" to properly fit this shoe. While other shoes in this category requires you to wear and use it vigorously to get the desired fit, the Saucony Grid Raider instantaneously gives you a comfortable fit. The only thing that I would advise anyone who would buy a Saucony is to size up half size higher. I noticed that Saucony's fit is smaller compared to other brands. So if you are a size 11, choose 11.5 to assure a proper fit.
