My son loves these ! They have a on off switch on side so they won't be distracting at school. They are very bright lights. Love how sketchers fit my growing son.

These shoes are very cute. The fit is good, run true to size. I like the new feature of turning the lights off, although every pair of light up Sketchers we owned, always stayed lit.

We went through three pairs in the matter of 2 months. The first pair the lights on one shoe stopped working. The next pair the part attaching the Velcro to the shoe ripped in a day. The third and final pair one headlight stopped working and the band that goes over the ankle with the flashing lights opened up exposing the electrical inside. My wanna be fire fighter loved these shoes too! I was so sad and disappointed to tell him that three was it. On the positive not I commend Sketchers for installing an on/off switch. I LOVED that opt open because these were very bright lights. You could see him running down the street in the dark from quite far away. I commend amazon for being a great company for shipping out replacement ones free of charge and free return shipping on the broken shoes.

We originally wrote a poor review for this item because the lights on the shoes didn't work. What we eventually figured out is there is a button on the side of the shoe to turn the lights on!!! Shoes are great, fit well, and lights work.
