I was looking for a bright red shoe to wear for work. My last pair of Nikes lasted for 5 years, but it's time to get new ones. I love the arch support this one gives, and the color is just what I was looking for. The orchid trim dies down the bright hue of the red to just the right contrast.

I've had many many Avia shoes, and they always fit me just right, true to size, wide front foot bed (important to me) and most important, they have an arch inside, which gives far more support than other shoes. AND... they're incredibly lightweight. I can use them for walking, but mostly use 'em for Zumba, and they work great!

Initially I was attracted to this shoe by the colors, but I have tried Avia brand shoes in the past, and was very please with the fit and comfort, so I bought these on-line, assuming that that these shoes would satisfy me as well. And they have!
