These are my second pair of lock laces. Bought the second pair to match my new running shoes. I bought the original pair to make triathlon transitions faster and they do just that. They were easy to put in my shoes, the directions were clear and the lock stays in place. I would suggest anyone using them for a race should give yourself a couple of weeks to use the laces before your race because initially its easy to get your laces too tight or too loose. Once I figured out the perfect place to lock my laces, I marked the laces with a permanent marker so I knew where to pull the lock.

These laces are a lifesaver for those kids that have small motor coordination problems. These kids cannot tie shoelaces and these lock laces are snazzy and colorful and help avoid embarrasment.

The purple ones are just as great as the pink ones but the one thing I forgot to say in the other review was that the laces were very hard to get on my shoes and the directions were terrible. Everything else was great and keeps me from the pain I used to have, trying to tie my shoes.
