With a LOT of foam rolling of my IT band and breaking in of these shoes throughout the day and not just running, I ran my half marathon yesterday without any problems. These shoes have EXCELLENT support (I also use a Spenco RX full length orthotic which fits well in them). This being the longest I've ever run, I finished feeling great! I did have a few blisters, but never felt them so didn't notice them until I took my shoes off. They were only on my toes and compared to what I've experienced in the past on my long runs, they were nothing!
I highly recommend these shoes. Going into that running store and choosing these is what got me through my race in one piece!

Usually I prefer to get fitted for new running shoes at a running store but I tried the Mizuno website and after their 'test' online it was recommended I try these. I'm very happy with them so far. I received my usual blister under the big toe for the first 20km but it seems to have broken in now. My only fault with Mizuno is that rocks get stuck in the tread at the heel.Best Deals on Mizuno Women's Wave Alchemy 11 Running Shoe
I don't know anyone who has feet as narrow as mine. These actually fit and support my flat flimsy feet from all sides! I got orthotic inserts for them because I always do, but they actually hurt my feet, so I took them out and put the insole that comes with the shoe back in. Lo and behold, I can wear them as is with no pain! (and no pronation!) I did have to order a half size up for the length in the toes. the bands on the sides of the toe box may bug you if your feet aren't abnormally narrow, but I saw a video of a podiatrist who just cut the bands off with an exacto knife. These shoes grip my heels, which tend to slip out of other lesser shoes and they have extra lace holes so you can really cinch 'em up. Also, the soles have good traction, but don't tear up my carpet like trail shoes. I use these for step aerobics and kick boxing, too. The aerobics instructors say to use slippery cross-trainers for pivoting and lateral support when moving side to side, but all the cross trainers I tried on (well over 20 pairs all high end brands) were junk with no support or structure of any kindlike just wearing socks. So glad I tried these. Please don't ever stop making narrow widths!Honest reviews on Mizuno Women's Wave Alchemy 11 Running Shoe

I was wearing Saucony when I saw a RW suggestion that I give these a try. They are okay but the 10.5 womens is a bit larger than the 10.5 saucony. They are stiff and supportive just not very cushiony. I read another reviewer say that the Saucony break down very quickly and I also found that to be true.I use these to do the Power 90 workouts, not run. And, I wear them for everyday. They are comfortable.
