This is a nice light-weight running shoe. Fits about right. The rubber on the bottom front of toe is peeling a tiny bit after my first couple of runs, but it doesn't appear to be hurting the integrity of the shoe at all. I think it's just a little extra rubber -sort of like the extra dough after you use the cookie cutter to cut out your cookies, if you know what I mean.

I loved the bright colors and really wanted to keep them but they didn't support my heels as well as my other Zoots. I developed plantar fascitis after running a half-marathon in February. Despite doing the prescribed exercises religiously I never felt any relief until I purchased my first pair of Ultrakalanis. I wore them to work (I'm a nurse) and after 12 hours on my feet I felt as though I was well on my way to recovery. That was 4 months ago and I am now in training for my next half-marathon. I have purchased 4 pairs of Zoot Ultrakulanis because I'm afraid they'll quit making them; I can't imagine a day without my Zoots!

My son started soccer last year, we got him Adidas. He always complained that his shoes were too tight. So we tried these this year and it's such a huge difference! They're good quality, a better fit, and cheaper as well.

These are good, especially for little feet. AT the younger ages, they really don't need full teeth those are more likely to get stuck as the kids get there coordination down and a stuck cleat is no good on the knees. We were really pleased with these.

Best Deals on Diadora Forza TF Soccer Cleat (Little Kid/Big Kid)

I have difficulty finding soccer shoes for my son as many shoes are too narrow and going a size larger results in a poor fit. Diadora brand is great for kids with wider or thicker feet. The sizes tend to run large -I think but once you know how they compare, its easy to order online. Order your child's current size and then adjust if needed. I just order the current size and let my son grow into them. Price is very fair.

Great sneakers, exactly as described and very comfy!! They arrived on time and they are so adorable. These sneakers are great for people who have flat feet and virtually no arch because they dont give you that painful cramping feeling in your arch (well lack there of an arch) when you're running or working out!!

If you like to run, Nike "Free Runs "are the shoes for you! These shoes are flexible, and well fitted. There are also a wide range of sizes, from children to adults. These shoes are also water proof, and they dry fast!

In my opinion, these shoes are very comfortable, and good to run in! I love how they support your feet. I love all the colors; mine are white, pink, and blue. The shoe cost is about $98.00.

I wore them on a rainy, steep, hike and my feet never slipped! I also wore them in a race, and my feet were comfortable the whole run! It almost felt like I wasn't wearing shoes!

These shoes are good for lots of activities, such as hiking, running, biking, etc.

The only complaint is that they get dirt in them very easily, and rocks in the bottom.

I have a complete video review on YouTube. Search for: cRzKCkNRWUM

The good is:

1. Even in really wet conditions, these keep my feet perfectly dry.

2. Semi-wide forefoot gives toes more room than most D width shoes.

3. Low profile and snug heel are very stable.

4. Traction is generally good.

5. Very light

6. Feels very nimble.

7. Pretty much no heel lift! (YAY!)

Now the bad:

1. My left shoe is creasing on my big toe and hurts a lot after a run.

2. The interior shoe is made of some kind of crappy vinyl or plastic that seems to be the culprit. It creases badly where it bends.

Now the things that aren't really bad, but I'd like to see different:

1. Rock guard in forefoot makes forefoot feel hard.

2. Rock guard in forefoot reduces traction (especially noticeable on wet roots) because shoe doesn't bend around them and makes minimal contact when it needs to.

3. Mid-sole is quite firm. If this had Nike free kind of softness, I'd be very happy, but as it is, it's okay on trails and snow, but too hard for me on pavement.

Bottom line is for running in crappy conditions this shoe is amazing whether it's snow or mud. It feels very light, nimble, secure and fast!

I'm working on coercing the shoe to not bend on my toes by using a shoe stretcher and the bunion things to bump it up in the area it bends down and crushes my poor toe.

Runner: Flat footed size 12. Avid runner.

i usually wait a little longer to review products. but since i found it frustrating to find zero info on these shoes when purchasing, i figured i would throw in an initial two cents.

the bad...they are narrow. so if you have wide feet, i would be hesitant. they also do not have a ton of arch support (as a flat footer who long ago switched to trail running, this does not bother me in the least). zipper at the very top of the ankles can be a little tight, but i expect that to stretch a little.

the good...excellent traction on the wet rocks and trees and such. i felt sure footed at every turn and hop. dry feet is a plus with these with solid breathing. i took them through every puddle i could get them in and they were dry all afternoon. however, i am certainly going to clean after every run to preserve the water repellency of the outer material. the shoe is super light despite already having a full shoe on the inside and an additional sole.

overall...these shoes are a lot of fun and pretty much give you every reason to get your feet out in the winter weather. i would recommend.

I did one 3.2 mile run and walked around for a day in them. After the second wear the bottom of the shoe started to separate from the fabric. Not sure if it was a lemon. I ordered a new pair a half size bigger. I'll post again if the shoe starts to fall apart again. If not the shoes were good in the water. Kept my feet dry.

I can honestly say I haven't seen such cheap insoles since I was a kid wearing kids shoes in the 1980's. They are literally just a thin piece of un-molded foam that provide no cushioning and contributed to a blister on the bottom of my foot where I have never gotten a blister before in my life. Other than the crappy insole, I think the shoe itself is pretty nice. Will be going to get a dr. scholl's or something. Oh...and if you are looking for wide, the 4E really isn't that wide. I've had very comfortable New Balance sneakers before, but these don't really live up to that standard. They are inexpensive though.

I have always been satisfied with New Balance. The fit is very good. This was my main concern. I ordered my usual size. In the stores New Balance are assembled in the US these were made in Vietnam. Purchased through Amazon.

Just got these in. Typically wear a 13 4E in NB running shoes so that's what I ordered in these. These might, MIGHT be 2E's but honestly they feel like a regular width shoe. Terrible sizing. Box says 4E, shoe says 4E, my feet disagree. If you are 2E, order the 4E. If you are a 4E, find a different shoe. Going back tomorrow

Honest reviews on New Balance Men's MT510 Trail-Running Shoe

Very comfortable shoe for walking & running. I would not recommend this shoe for heavy mileage running of 20 or more miles per week. It is designed to be a trail shoe, and it may work well for that purpose. Shoe is available in multiple widths which I found very advantageous.

I have owned and used other New Balance shoes that have lasted years, and these shoes were not the same quality as the others. within 3 weeks the material had a hole in it, I wrote it off as I was running too much, but than after about another 3 weeks they started to fall apart, the stitching is CRAPPY at best (and I'm being lenient), the shoe laces are absolute garbage and broke within the month and a half. These so-called running shoes are the worst I have ever had the chance of trying, and they are the only running shoe that you should probably not run in.

BOTTOM LINE TERRIBLE QUALITY, CANT RETURN, NEW BALANCE JUST LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

I purchased the grey, which actually has a suede upper rather than leather. I've worn the 621 and 622 and liked them both. While still a decent shoe, the 623 is not as good. Here's what I don't like compared to the other models: the suede upper does not give as much lateral support in fact, I have to keep tightening the shoe strings throughout my workout; the shoe runs a little larger than the other models; but most of all, the forefront cushioning is not very good at all. Now, I use my shoes for working out and cross-training, so if you just want a walking/work shoe, this should be fine; just doesn't do that well with heavy pounding. If you get the 623 for exercise, opt for the one with a leather upper probably better. However, one plus for the suede is that it is cooler and more breathable than the leather, so if you wear all day, something to consider.

I have purchased dozens of New Balance cross trainers over the years, begining with the 601 or 602. In my view, each new model was an improvement in comfort and stability. When I began using the 623 I recently bought to replace my worn out 622's, I could not believe it. Compared to the 622, this shoe is lighter by at least 2 ounces, less sturdy, has less heelshock absorption, and has less support for the front of the foot. I took several painful 3 mile walks before I decided to toss these 623's. These shoes were a waste of $60. 622's seem to be in very short supply on Amazon and elsewhere. I hope this does not portend discontinuation. If so, I'm going to start stockpiling 622's.

Made in China, this model did not fit as well as previous NB purchases and is devoid of ventilation. Cheaply made and it shows. Will not purchase this model again.

Honest reviews on New Balance Men's MX623 Cross-Training Shoe

I have worn the New Balance series for probably 10 years, or however long they have been around. I wear 13 EEE, and have very low arches (flat fee), and this series (622 and previous) has been the most comfortable and offered the best support of any other shoe I have ever worn. The older ones (622 and previous versions) all had very firm and solid soles, and the body of the shoe itself was very thick and sturdy leather. Perfect for everyday wear and for workouts. I wore them so much that I bought a new pair every six months.

When I bought the new 623's, I didn't think much about them. The sole is thinner and bends much, much, much easier than the 622 and previous versions, and the body was also much thinner and provided not as much support. But they are NB, so I just put them on and wore them. But I began to notice that my feet hurt more than normal, and I found myself having to re-tie them often as they always seemed to get loose.

I HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING IF THERE IS A CORRELATION, but about three or four months after buying them and using the new 623's exclusively and repeatedly, my right foot and especially heel began to hurt a lot. As the pain increased, I ended up at my podiatrist, with a diagnosis of plantar fasciitis, which is a result of my being flatfooted, and also because I am overweight. I never had the condition in the past, and it came up on me very quickly, in a matter of a few weeks. I have had to wear a foot device at night to try to stretch that tendon.

About a week ago, I wanted to work outside and decided to wear my "old" pair of 622's. I noticed IMMEDIATELY the difference...it was like putting on a different shoe. Much more support and less stress on my feet.

I have now put the 623's in the closet and wear the 622's all the time. My plantar fasciitis is almost gone, and my feet feel much better.

I have read about NB now using China to make the shoes, and other stuff. I can say with complete certainty that they are definitely using lower quality materials, LESS material from the body to the sole, and THE PRODUCT IS MUCH INFERIOR WHEN COMPARED TO THE OLD VERSIONS.

I am now looking for another shoe that will offer support the way the 622's and previous ones did, because in my opinion, the 623's are junk, and would get a "zero star" rating if Amazon would allow me to give that.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for New Balance Men's MX623 Cross-Training Shoe

I never dreamed that I would be writing a "one star" review on NB shoes. In short, they have changed the 608's and 623's shoes to a cheaper version. The quality is gone. I was very satisfied with NB cross trainer shoes for about 15 years. I would gladly pay more if NB would just bring back the quality shoes (classics) that made them famous. MANY of my friends have noticed the lack of quality that I speak about. SADLY the NB 623 shoes hurt my feet. The end of an "Era". I will now shop other brands for quality shoes.

Love the color & fit. However they do run small. I'm a 10m...not available. Ordered 11m still a little snug. But if I wear thin socks they are perfect.

Honest reviews on Diesel Sport Women's Baffin Lace-up Fashion Sneaker

I bought these shoes for a trip to Paris. I wore them 7 days straight and they are so comfortable. I did put a heel insert in them because I have Plantar Fasciitis but with that I could not have picked a better shoe for my trip.

One day I walked nearly 10 miles and while I was exhausted my feet didn't hurt. It rained every day I was there and my feet stayed dry the leather and suede combination was perfect.

Unfortunately I really trashed these after walking through the Tuileries Gardens in enormous puddles day after day. Had I been home I would have tried to salvage them when I got home, but I was traveling with just a carry on and bought too much, so I left them behind. I got more than $50 worth out of them and I'm seriously considering purchasing another pair as they look nice with jeans, are super comfy and are perfect traveling shoes.

As other reviewers have stated these do run small, I always wear a 41, and went up to a 42 and they were perfect.

These are great wonderful arch support and enough room in the toe area to wear warm socks. Needed to wear them a few times to perfect using the lacing system but once you get the hang of that they are great shoes. i walk in ice and snow and they grip like a charm. The goretex feature along with a pair of wool socks your feet are toasty and dry.

I literally purchased 5 shoes and returned them trying to find the right shoe! For me, it's form and function and the two are not mutually exclusive. I purchased shoes for the purpose of hiking/running on trails in different models (without GTX, in a different color), and in different brand names when I finally came across this color, this model, this brand in gore-tex. Not only are they comfortable, light weight and so easy to put on and lace up, but they look great and go with most of the colors I gravitate to for working out in. I am not a pastel person! So kudos to Salomon for blending in quality and aesthetics around their product. It's a hit in every way and I'm keeping these babies. Until the next time for a new pair of shoes! I will definitely go Salomon! (oh and it's a good idea to go a half size smaller, too!)

After thoroughly researching these shoes & reading many reviews, I decided to make the investment. I live in a rural area and wanted a great running shoe to deal with the mud & wetness of our gravel roads. These do the job! They keep my feet warm & dry. They have great arch support and a wonderful fit (maybe just a little large). I tried them out on the treadmill first & that was a mistake...they are definitely an outdoor shoe. So, I wear my Nike Free on the treadmill & the Salomons outside! I wear anything from a size 9.5 to 10 depending on the shoe so ordered the 9.5. They still run a tad bit large so I just pull on a pair of thick socks with them & out the door I go!

Honest reviews on Salomon Women's XA Pro 3D Ultra GTX W Trail Running Shoe

Superb trail running shoe. Warm, waterproof, and lighter in weight than some of Salomon's other running shoes. I took these up to Banff, Canada in February and my feet stayed dry and warm. They are also great for everyday wear. Once I bought my first pair of Salomon running shoes, I never went back to any other brand. Plus, can't go wrong with the Cougar colors ;-) They run a little big in size. The laces never come undone since they are like a locking draw string.

I have been wearing Saucony for years. I found in the last few years their sizing has changed. I used to always be a 6 1/2. The last time I bought a 6 1/2, it was too big. I'm too lazy to return things so I gave it away. So I ordered a 6 this time and it's a little too small. It's like I'm in between a 6 and a 6 1/2. Really disappointed that they seem to have changed their sizing. I used to be a consistent 6 1/2 and could order their shoes online with confidence. Now I feel like I need to go to a store to try them on first. Bleh. I really dislike shopping but I can't rely on their sizing any more. I bought this particular shoe because it is waterproof. Can't return it because when I first tried it on it seemed to fit, but once I took my dogs for a walk, I realized it was too small. I thought maybe I needed to break it in, but after several walks and sore feet, I realize it's just too small.

I've worn Saucony running shoes for years and have been a size 10.5 for at least the past 4 years. I've had success with the Women's Powergrid Triumph 9 and the Women's Grid Propel Plus NxGen models, but this one ran at least half a size large on me.

Best Deals on Saucony Women's Guide 6 GTX Running Shoe

Saucony is the only brand of sneaker I buy for exercise activities. This is the only pair that I've ever bought that fit terrible and in the weirdest place...the tongue of the shoe. There is extra padding in the tongue and sewed in place with elastic banding. The bulky-ness of the tongue and banding make the tops of my feet hurt after just a little while (and it makes it hard to tie the shoes tight). If I loosen the laces, my heels slip up and down. I will still buy Saucony sneakers just not this particular one/style.

First of all, I LOVE the fact that these are waterproof. The goretex is a fantastic feature and really is completely waterproof--great for running in the rain, through puddles, snow, etc. That said, I feel like this shoe is very rigid. I've owned the Guide series before, and while the footbed and arch support is very comfortable, I think it's going to take a long time to break these shoes in. Also, perhaps because the soles on these are meant for rougher terrain, they're not quite as springy as I'd like. Overall a comfortable shoe, but at least initially, not as easy to run in as I'd hoped.

I would consider myself an intermediate experienced runner. I have ran a couple marathons and one 50k in my year and a half of running as a hobby. I average about 30-35 miles a week currently. I have size 13 feet with large toes, and need a shoe with a wide toe-box. About 9 months ago I started purchasing and testing various "minimal" shoes as I started to move from a heel/mid-foot-strike style of running to a forefoot-strike style of running. The second pair I purchased were a pair of Faas 250's, and I really liked them. I put about 250 miles on my first pair before moving to a pair of Nike Lunarracer shoes that ended up not having a long enough toe-box. I also tried the NB Minimus road, Nike Free 3.0, Nike Free-run+ but I eventually settled on the Faas 250 because I could run the longest in them with the least discomfort. They have an 8mm forefoot-to-heel rise with a very small amount of arch support which is nice when you get into long distances and your feet start to become fatigued and your stride gets sloppy, but it's not enough that it gets in the way of landing fore-foot first. They shoe is very light weight, and I have had no problems with tearing of the light-weight upper material. The only thing I don't like about the shoe is the shoe laces that come with the shoe are heavy and come untied easy, I always change them out with a better set of laces when I get a new pair. The sole does wear out quickly, and I get about 250-300 miles out of mine before I start to notice a bit of joint discomfort, which is when I purchase a new pair.

I love these shoes, and until they completely discontinue them I will continue to run in them as they are cheap, very lightweight, and work perfectly for my foot and running style. Everyone is different, these shoes may not work for some but they work great for me.

Pros:

-fastest feeling shoe I've ever worn

-very lightweight, no heel weight

-more cushioned than expected, quite comfortable

-good road surface feel

-good minimal transition shoe for midfoot striker

Cons:

-somewhat small toebox causes some wear on the mesh

-little lateral support with quick turns

The shoe was definitely a surprise as its more cushioned than my NB's with less heel rise.

Running feels effortless and fast with no turn over weight at the heel. The primary con is that I have worn a small hole at the small toe area faster than other shoes I've owned.

By far, the best running shoe I have ever wore. I am a big guy, 5' 8"; 215 former powerlifter that switched to crossfit and every shoe I wore, my feet hurt like crazy the next day. Totally solved with this shoe! I would recomend for someone looking for a light shoe that is comfortable! i can't gaurantee it will last a long time, but for the price that isnt a big deal.

Honest reviews on PUMA Faas 250 Running Shoe

Great shoes for shorter runs (depending on your definition of short, around 3 miles). Anything above that can be taxing on your feet. I developed serious blisters during 4-5 mile runs, and didn't attempt anything much above that.

As for shoe construction, the right insert had the tendency to bunch at the front or back of the foot occasionally, but I solved that with a little duct tape. Otherwise, the lightness felt great. Don't think I'll return to regular-weight running shoes after this, but not so sure I'd purchase this particular model again.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for PUMA Faas 250 Running Shoe

The Faas 250 is a great running shoe. Weighing in at approx. 7 ounces it is light weight, while still having a supportive sole. In the Faas line of running shoes, the 250 has the least amount of support on the sides. Rather the sides are made of a breatheable mesh that doesn't restrict the foot. This is not an appropriate running shoe for long distance runners, half-marathoners and marathoners. If you are a long distance runner, there are other options in the Faas running line including the 550 and the 800 (both of which provide excellent side support for longer distance runners). If you run 5K's, shorter distances or just do a loop around the block in the morning, this is the shoe for you! The newest Faas 250's contain a new Puma technology called BioRide. BioRide works with the natural progression of the heel to the toe allowing the runner/walker to exercise for a longer amount of time with less foot pain. Additionally, the sole of the shoe is made of memory foam, which will form to your foot as the shoe breaks in. Overall, a fantastic shoe!

Great comfy innersoles, last a long time. You can wash them in cold water and air dry. Scrub lightly with soft brush and soak. If you brush too hard or soak too long, the layers will separate (don't ask me how I know). Now on my third year with these, wear them every day. I had a pair of Lunarlon and loved those so I tried the Lunarglides they are wide for my wide foot ... have an amazing arch support for my somewhat falling arches and the heel is like marshmallow ... ok maybe not like that ... but I have bad knees and this is the only shoe that makes my knees not hurt when i wear them. They keep my foot in the right position so no pronating or the other way ... they really are an awesome sneaker ... and for color ... ORANGE way cool ... I have them in Lime and Yellow as well ... I love this shoe ... Thanks Nike!!!!!!!!!!
