These are awesome shoes. If you're hesitating, don't. They fit true to size, and are not bulky whatsoever. She can actually be really agile in them without tripping..and she's a little ballerina, so she's always twirling about. I love them, and so does she. She can wear them with or without socks, and they don't bother her heals or rub them raw like some shoes do. Not too tight on the top, and she has wide feet, so not any shoe will do. I hope they are available when she grows out of them..or I might just buy another pair a size bigger. Good grip on the sole as well.
Overall: My daughter tells me they feel good on her feet. And like I said, there are not many shoes she can say that about since she has wide feet. But, these have been great so far. Now, I cannot say they last a long time, because she hasn't had them that long..and if there's anything notable about that, I'll be sure to update. Very true to size, which I love since I'm ordering online. And she also loves that she can run and jump around without tripping. Some shoes are bulky, but these are not at all. I think you'll enjoy them.

This is a great shoe! Good for dressing up to playing soccer. They are flexible, durable yet soft enough and comfortable. They can be worn with or without socks too, and so far no smelliness. My only complaint is that even though the toe arches up a bit and therefore helps prevent scuffing, they can scuff fairly easily if contact is made on the leather, like if the kid falls or drags their feet on a bike. I was able to buff out the scuff after my daughter fell, but if you look closely, you can tell. I'm not sure there is any such thing as a shoe that wont scuff, but that would be awesome! Overall, this is the best shoe I have found in all price ranges (and I spent days looking at dozens of shoes) and I will buy them again and again as long as they still make them.

I had high expectations for these shoes but I am very disappointed. The velcro straps are already coming apart and my daughter has only worn them for a month. Not worth the money.

I would not recommend this shoe, it does not hold up to my active 7 year old that needs a pair of good quality every day school shoes. The rubber on the toe does not come up high enough to ward off scuffing and the velcro AND the leather strap have fallen apart and we have only had these shoes 1 month. All the leather is gone and the toes have holes in them. I have bought Keen's in the past that have held up brilliantly. Very disappointing. If I weren't living out of the country I probably would have sent them back.
