i have previously had ryka running shoes which were really comfy and fitted like a second skin. this pair is almost as good, good room in the front of the foot and nice and pliable. havent experienced any 'slipping of the heels' as with my other ryka cross trainers. i have narrow feet so these are just great. Also good for walking.

I've develope plantar fasicitis in the last 2 years, which really has put a a crimp in my active lifestyle. Plus I have no arches. These shoes do the trick in being very supportive of prolapsed ankles. This is my second pair and Amazon had a good price -$49 vs $89. I wear Orthoheel inserts and there is plenty of toe box room. Extremely lightweight, but fab cushioning sole. No break in period.
