What a great idea but be careful if you are walking on uneven ground or doing anything that may suddenly shift your balance which in my case resulted in a broken finger when I fell walking the dog. Trainers warn of carrying weights around your ankle as this adversely affects your balance. These shoes do this AND as the weights are in an added insole you actually are also raised inside the shoe by an inch which reduces stability on the ankle and raises your center of gravity which if on uneven ground more likely to tip over!
So from now on, I will be wearing without the weighted insole still cute but not the same kind of workout for which I purchased.
