AT FIRST MONTH THE SHOE WAS VERY COMFORTABLE. THEN IT FELL APART. I CONTACTED MAGNUM SHOES AND THE WON'T WARRANTY THE PRODUCT BECAUSE IT WAS NOT PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM THEM. I ONLY WORE IT 12 TIMES. VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT. ***** DONT BUY MAGUNM*****

I work as an EMT with a EMS department and have wear this shoe both as my summer duty footwear and as my everyday wear shoe.

PROS

+Comfortablethe arc support is decent (but i have high arches) and they are light.

+Vibram sole is very slip proof one of my fist days wearing this i assisted in extricating a patient from a car wreck and got blood and car fluids on the soles and wasn't slipping much unless i was it was on a extremely smooth surface.

+Magnum's warranty

+ion mask technologywater droplets bead off the the shoe and the parts that are covered in the rubbery ion mask are completely water proof, unfortunately the entire shoe is not coated in this rubber but that is good because it would effect breath-ability.

+Breath-ability i sweat a lot and even on 80+ degree days my feet stay relatively cool.

CONS

-Durability, after about a month the toe cap on the left shoe started to become unglued, magnum has agreed to try and replace them with the same product or something comparable.

-Laces, the laces are too small for the eyelets so its hard to get the shoes tight near the toes and the middle of the foot.

Overall they are where a decent buy for the 50$ i paid for them but i would not have bought them at full price.

I am very happy with all of my magnum boots but these are probably my favorite. They are very light, comfortable and come in my camo pattern of choice! Highly recommended!

These are the third pair of Intrepids I have had now. They last very well and offer excellent support. Comfort is good on pavement and rough ground. Training for 4 -5 hours is a breeze no heat or pressure spots.They dry very quickly after wetting and provide plenty of ventilation for those 50 degrees c days. A word of warning do not wash in the laundry, the detergents attack the shoes causing premature failures. I learnt this the hard way....
