Not terribly attractive shoes, but they were great for hiking lodge to lodge along the Rogue river. That's over 40 miles in 5 days with no sore spots, blisters, hot spots or other problems other than tired feet at the end of the day. I hunted down the last two pairs in my size (they have been discontinued for a while) so I have some backups when my current pair wears out.
I would give them a five star for comfort, traction & stability but only 4 stars for looks. Didn't like the color, but that was all that was available. I'm really sorry this style was discontinued.
