I have been wearing ASICS most of my life. They fit me much better than most running shoes. This is the first pair I have been disappointed in. It makes a weird noise when I walk, the front end sort of bending and "breaking," so to speak. They are not comfortable. They have no cushion. I feel like I'm running in some cheap shoe. They aren't expensive, but they were $50 and I expected them to be as good as all the other ASICS I've used for the past 40 years. Also, the shoe laces are constantly coming untied. Annoying.

I've been running and doing intense cardio in Asics Gel sneakers for years. These are the cheapest made shoes I have ever purchased. I regret purchasing and will discontinue wearing because they cause pain in my ankle and shin.

I have been wearing Asics for the last 3 years and have always been satisfied with the quality and durability, as well as the comfort. I have been wearing the Venture 3 shoes for some time (purchased several pairs) and loved them. I could not purchase them this last time, so thought the Venture 4 shoes would be just as great. I received them on July 13, 2013 and started wearing them the next day. I suffer from athritis in my ankles and feet as well as plantar fascitis in my left foot that was almost remedied. For almost a week now, my feet have been hurting again more and thought maybe it was just the weather here in Michigan causing my arthritis to act up. It was getting worse each day, so I decided to put on my old Venture 3 shoes and viola! The next day they felt a little better and now are back to the pain level I was at before the Venture 4 shoes. Pretty disappointed that these shoes didn't even last me 2 weeks before they had to go....and a week of that was being in pain. I am hoping to try again with a different pair of Asics, but hoping to find the Venture 3's again.

I love ASICS for running and thought I was making a great purchase with this shoe. However, I am very disappointed. This shoe is comfortable, but it just doesn't have enough support and cushioning for the amount of running I do. I developed an IT Band Injury for the first time ever while running and I'm wondering if it is because of these shoes. I thought I was saving money by buying these shoes, but now have to purchase a better shoe. I would only recommend this shoe for walking. Super bummed!
