I've had problems with plantar fasciitis of the heel. These shoes have more heel cushioning/stability than my other pairs and I could tell the difference. I was very happy with them as walking shoes. I'm not a runner.

I first came across these shoes at a discount clothes retailer, Ross. Since then, I've purchased two more pairs and can say as a 6'4" fellow with flat feet.."..ahhhhhhh." Super comfortable, great grip on trails, sidewalks, and urban jungles. These shoes let your feet breathe comfortably without getting hot or sweaty while still being durable. They are a great multi-purpose, every day shoe and for the price (usually 60% or more below retail) through Amazon, you will not be disappointed. Hope this helps!

These are great shoes initially they are extremely comfortable and stylish in short they get the job done. However, in my experience they seem to wear out within a month and a half-two months of regular use. I use them as all purpose shoes and walk for 30-60 minutes a day on concrete so maybe it's not how they were intended to be used but still I feel this is a little quick for a shoe to start wearing out. These shoes were supposedly made to run on rough terrain so I didn't really think that using them to walk in the suburbs would really take that much of a toll on them.
