To borrow my son's way of appreciation... awesome! Finally I got a pair with a very reasonable price after months of persuasion from my son. Now, I have a pair to match his when we go to the gym. He was open-mouthed with great surprise to learn the price was just a third of his. :-)

I've been a fan of New Balance shoes for a long time, and these 565s did not disappoint. They fit well, they're well made, and attractively styled. The rubber soles are light grey and the rubber is soft and "sticky" enough for me to use them as boat shoes, which is a real plus. Naturally, the inner foot pads offer no arch support and are basically useless, so I quickly replaced them with my custom-fit arch supports, which fit perfectly inside to complete the package.

I love these shoes. They are durable and comfortable. They run a little on the thin side, but other than that, they are wonderful.
