LOVE these sneakers! They arrived less than 24 hours after I ordered them (I selected next day), and they're super comfortable. I'm on my feet for 12 hours (ER nurse), so a comfortable shoe is an absolute must. They even make my feet look small!! :)Best Deals on Skechers Women's S2 Lite Shape Ups Lace-Up Fashion Sneaker
This is the most comfortable sneaker/shoe yet for all day comfort, even on concrete. I am recovering from plantar fasciitis and getting back into exercise this sneaker is the best: plenty of heel support and light weight. I have an original pair of Shape-Ups which are good for the heel but I have to tie them so tight otherwise they feel loose and wobbly plus they are heavy. The S2 Lites work the best for me. Just ordered 2 more pairs in case Skechers stops making them.Honest reviews on Skechers Women's S2 Lite Shape Ups Lace-Up Fashion Sneaker
I'm on my feet all day long, and am always on the hunt for comfortable, supporting shoes that don't look horrendous. Last year I bought the regular Shape Ups and was very pleased. My feet still felt like feet at the end of the day! However, after a year of constant wear, they were starting to show their age.I saw the S2 Lite version a few days after Christmas on sale and jumped at the chance to buy another pair at a reasonable price. I did not realize they would be so different from the regular version.
After the first day, my feet were sore all along the arch. The last hour of my shift at work was unpleasant. I thought maybe I just needed to break these in and they could be just as comfortable as my original pair. I'm fairly stubborn and really wanted to like these shoes, so I wore them for the next week. At the end of the week I could barely walk in them.
The S2 Lite looks more like a typical tennis shoe than the regular Shape Ups, and I fell in love with the pink accents since most of our scrubs at work are pink, but no amount of fashion is worth the agony of wearing these shoes all day. Perhaps if you were jogging for an hour and then taking them off they'd be just fine. Maybe it's just the shape of my feet or my wear pattern, but I've never had this much trouble with a sneaker. Sadly, they will be relegated to the back of my closet, or better yet donated.
