I have basically no arch support at all in my feet. The Saucony high-stability shoe model through out the years has consistently been the most comfortable shoe I've found. They are pricey, but actually provide substance for the price. The deals found here on Amazon are frequently the best you'll find. A great shoe for flat feet or weak ankles. I save them for when I'm in the gym or doing a lot of walking (shopping, at the park, etc. to get longer life out of them)

So far, before these shoes, my arches would ache after running and I knew it was because my old Saucony's were wearing out. Being in Iraq, fitness is a must, and I really need to run. So far because of the rocks and bad lighting, I only have run these shoes on a treadmill, but I'm quite happy even ordering over the internet.

This is a fairly light* and durable shoe for strong pronators.

Good for flat feet needing much reinforcement.

Previous Grid Stabil shoe version lasted 2+ years of light running 5-8 miles/week.

Other shoes in category, Brooks Beast and New Balance 1015 provide equal support.

Both are heavier though.

This model is being phased out for the next gen Grid Stabil
