As a former runner getting back into running after a couple knee surgeries have prevented me from running for about two years, I wanted to get an affordable shoe that is also comfortable. After hearing from my physical therapist to try Brooks, I went to the local sporting goods store and tried on a pair. I fell in love with the comfort immediately. The gel used in the sole of this shoe is so natural and comfortable that it feels better than walking around barefoot. I would highly recommend giving these shoes a try.

Bought these shoes today from REI and couldnt be happier. I tried on a dozen pairs Asics, New Balance, Vibrams today and and none felt close to how these feel. I have slightly wide and flat feet. The technology in these shoes encourage impact off your heels. Ran my first 5k with these this evening and my feet felt cool and refreshed the entire way through.
I would highly recommend these. Not only they function well but they are a head turner.

I love the amount of forefoot cushioing these shoes have. Some people do not but I push off rather hard and these are like propulsion pillows for me. Exellent. I hope the Ravenna 4's arent changed too much

I've had ravenna's in the past and love them. Like most brooks shoes. Plush and conforming to my foot, yet pretty light for a training shoe.
