I needed new shoes and really wanted to get the new balance I usually get. However since I couldn't find them in the stores I needed something new. My son is a cross country runner. I bought him a pair of ascisand he loved them. We are close to the same size, so I tried his shoe. I was amazed at how comfortable the shoe was. It isn't heavy or bulky. It seems so light on my foot. I ordered a half size bigger than what I normally wear. The shoes didn't take long to "break in", a few hours tops. I have 5 kids and am not brave enough to walk around without shoes on. These are the first shoes I have owned that I don't mind wearing all day. There is padding and suppport where I need it and they are light weight. I don't "run" but I have been told I walk fast. I also walk alot. I have had the shoes for a few weeks now. My back, hip and knee are feeling better too. The more I wear them, the more I like them. I really wish I could wear them to work. I rated as a 4 star because I haven't had them long. If they hold up, I would change to 5 stars.

I have been devoted to ASICS for about 15 years and was excited to see this shoe for such a good price.

It is NOT a good 'running' shoe IMO. When you have a bad case of the "Overs" (Over 40, Overweight) you need a shoe that has lots of cushion/shock absorption. This shoe does not. I found the sloe to be thin to use as a running shoe, but I use itas an 'everyday shoe' it's very comfortable for that errands and such. The price was so good I can't complain any more so.-overall I like it.

One other thingthe top of the shoe is padded (Seriously-more than any other ASICS I've worn ever) so if your feet get hot or sweat, this might not be the shoe for you.

Good, but not *quite* the quality I was expecting from Asics, and surely not the insole support! Had to by extra insoles. BUT, for the ease of shopping online and NOT having to waste the gas to go to the store, its not a bad product at all! Sizing is accurate, and they are pretty comfortable...and cute enough for work or to work out in, while being comfy.

I'm not an avid runner, just a Mom that does a lot of running around with the kids. I like running shoes for the support they provide but generally hate how expensive they are. This shoe was a great price. I learned along time ago to size up a half size on running shoes (from my husband who is an avid runner) and that has made a lot of difference in my comfort level.

I have always worn Asics. I have gone to other brands, but always return!!! they are perfect. I wear them for work and hiking. nothing better!
