It's tough to buy shoes for a toddler online. They are all different, sizes tend to vary a good bit, and you never know how the little one's going to like them. That said, these must be pretty good--when we're getting ready to leave the house, he will point at them and say those are the ones he wants to wear. That's the highest possible praise from the under-three set.

2 year old loves his new shoes. Ordered 9.5 XW because a New Balance wide isn't as wide as a Stride Rite shoe. His last New Balance were a 9 W and they were too tight across his foot even with thin socks. They seem really good quality and I'm hoping they will last trhough the summer.

We were looking for a stylish new running shoe for our little guy. He has a wide foot which makes it difficult to find a variety of cute shoe options. We end up at stride rite spending $50+ for shoes that we sometimes love or (on occasion), sometimes settle for. When I found these shoes, I loved the bright, contemporary colors but even more than that, I loved that they look like a miniature version of something "daddy" would wear. When the box arrived, my husband and I were both so excited to find that these shoes are not done justice by the picture provided. The colors look great the quality of the materials is outstanding and the shoes have made my son so happy. He wants to wear them ALL the time and keeps calling them "my runnin' shoooz". Could not be more pleased!!

This is the second pair I have bought in this model. Easy to put on, fit well, flexible bottom, and look cool
