Been buying pedipeds for my boys for years now and they really are the best out there. They are made well and have lasted through 2-3 boys. They wash very well and look nice.

The colour of the sneaker is as seen in the photos, the orange stripes stand out against the dark navy. Great when worn casual with bermudas or khaki pants. I did purchase a size too big for my 3.5 years old son, but he loved that there was ample space for his toes to wriggle in.

My son is 2 and has had a pair of Frederick sneakers in every size from the smallest "originals" through the Grip 'n Go and now into the Flex. They continue to be his favorite shoe. I like how the back hugs his ankle and prevents any slipping. The Velcro closers stay fastened through a whole day of play, but are still easy enough to open that he can take his shoes off himself, and they provide arch support and stability.

He says they "run, run, run, fast, fast." I'm inclined to agree since I'm having a tough time keeping up with him these days:)
