I bought these shoes for two reasons. I have overpronation and now developed plantar fasciitis. These shoes are very support w/ great cushioning. Also I do run on the trails and they offer a good fit and traction. Unless it's pouring rain or you run thru wet fields, the shoe offers decent waterproofing as well. I'm all over the place with my dog so I use it for hiking/ walks with him also. Perfect for New England terrain. I recommend the shoe. The fit is a little big for size but I wouldn't go a size smaller. LOVE this shoe. Worth the money.

Bought these shoes for winter road running. Like the traction that they provide on icier, snow covered streets. The quick-lace system is a neat feature. I also like how the clima shield keeps my feet dry when running through light snow. I normally wear a 6.5 with my Nike running shoes. As noted by another reviewer, these runners do fit slightly bigger but I agree with the other reviewer in that I don't think I would have gone down a size.

I was impressed with the cool design of the shoe, they were great for running off road in icy conditions, as they are semi water proof it would seem. They have really high arches and alot of cushioning, so they were a bit uncomfortable for me the whole time I had them, they lasted for probably about 1000 miles of tough trail and road running, so I was really over all happy with this shoe.

I love these shoes! I am a pet sitter and 6 days a week I excersise 6 different dogs in all different terrains and whether in the NW... mostly on trails.

These shoes have changed everything, my heel stays down when I'm on the steepest trails as well a my whole foot stays in place and stays dry when it's pouring rain. Truly the best door to trail shoes I've ever owned! Yee!

I always need to put my own orthotics in shoes and they fit in these shoes very well however, the heel does slip a little so I may need to add a heel guard. I like the shoes because they are both cushioned yet they don't have a flexible sole which is what I need for my bunions. They are wide enough not to hurt my feet--very sturdy.
