Skechers (of all shoe companies) has made what I think is the best running shoe I've ever worn. I like running shoes with good cushioning, a wide forefoot, zero or low heel lift (or heel drop as they say) and a good lugged sole for traction on mud and roots in the woods. These shoes are fantastic! I love them. With the insole, you have a 4mm "drop" and without it they are zero drop. These don't have a rock guard either which is fantastic! You have a great feel for the trail or roads, but enough protection so you don't get bone bruises.
They run big. I take a size 10.5 in most Nike and New Balance Shoes and bought these in size 10 and they fit great.

Fit great, nice and light with just the right amount of cushioning. Have excellent grip on the trails. Wold recommend to anyone looking for a low drop trail shoe.
