My sons and I tried these in two different sizes and were, uh, sorely disappointed. Unlike the thicker Spenco insoles, these have a very slick bottom and simply don't stay put in shoes or sneakers. At first we noticed this playing basketball but then it became clear that they move around and curl up even as a result of walking. You can just feel the blisters forming. We're going to try gluing these insoles in, but of course that will make them impossible to remove for use in other footwear. Even gluing them will be tricky, because inserting them involves all kinds of folding and shoving and so forth. An absolutely dismal product, to be avoided at all costs.

My son's podiatrist recommended these supports a few years ago. At that time, I purchased a pair for myself and my son. We both have enjoyed the support this product gives our feet -both of which basically lack an arch. And, so when it was time to replace my son's Thinsole orthotics, I followed the sizing chart Spenco gave and moved him up size larger since he was older and his feet had done the same. This is where I have to take one star away in my rating. My son wears an 11 in dress shoes and Keen sandals -both of which become even better shoes with the use of these orthotics. (Yes, he wears them with his sandals.) Though the size I purchased are Men's 10-11, they were slightly too big for both of his shoes. So, I'll be ordering one size down and hoping for a better fit. Meanwhile, my husband will be taking ownership of these. He wears a 12 and they fit perfectly.

I'm so bummed these don't work in ANY of my shoes...first cut them to size, then tried in my work flats...nope, the heel is so wide it stretches them and makes my foot fall out and crams my toes because the bridge is so high now. Tried them in my boat shoes....nope, again too high in the back and my heel falls out! They don't seem to have a very noticeable arch support, but I would have been happy if they fit into the shoes I wear to work which was the whole point. They may have to live permanently in my bulky hiking shoes. So bummed I've yet to find workable arch supports (purchased direct from the manufacturer with no indication of being able to return).

Bought this for my son who wears a size 8 1/2 men's and has flexible flat feet. I didn't want anything too fat that would make the heel of his foot come out of his shoes. These are working great and he is complaining a lot less about aching feet!

great orthodics. I feel great in it. but the sides are quite sharp. as such, over time, it starts tearing the inside leather lining of your shoes. It got so bad in my dress shoes that I had to replace it with something else. otherwise, I think it's great for mid-low arch people.
