The lights looked great, but they were not made to function very well as shoelaces. The loops wouldn't lock as they were supposed to, so the little power box kept slipping loose and flopping around whenever I took a step. I constantly had to stop and re-adjust them, and finally gave up altogether. I would not recommend them.

Yes, these worked just fine. Nothing spectacular, but as advertised. They definitely get people's attention. Batteries included. They could come with better instructions on how to lace up.
