LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these shoes! Put them on and they were made for my feet (I have high arches). Have done several 5Ks and long weekend runs (over 10 miles) and have never had any blisters, hot spots, or sore joints. Ran once with them just out of the box and raced in them 3 days later for a new PR! Will have to buy a second pair.

These are the best shoes for me. I have used them for training runs up 24 miles and racing the marathon distance. I was disappointed to find out that New Balance has discontinued them.

Best Deals on New Balance Women's WR1190 Running Shoe

I have worn these shoes for 2 training runs. The first was 2.5 miles at about a 10 min mile pace. I had to stop my run because a blister had developed on the back, left achilles. The second time I ran 5 miles at about 10:30 min mile and my toes as well as the bottom of both of my feet hurt. I also had a problem with my left knee cap and have never had that happen before, so I am not sure if it was the shoe or just a isolated insident. I am going to test the shoes one more time. I have been a recreational runner for the past 10 years and over the last year, I have entered at least one 5k, 8k or 10k event each month. I love NB running shoes and always chose them because they have "D" width. I ordered a 7D (WR1190) for these shoes, which is the same size as the previous NB that I LOVE (WR740! I will report on my last run before I decide to return them, however, I wanted to make sure others knew to be concerned because I read about these shoes in a popular runners magazine and they were recommended!! (P.S. I do love the color and light weight feel of the shoe)

Haven't worn this particular pair yet but ordered them after wearing out a previous pair last year. They are great if you have a midfoot strike and want something light without much cushioning but with a little stability post for mild overpronation. I usually wear narrow width shoes but these fit me well in the B width. I was pleased to be able to snap up a second pair at such a discount from the original price.
