I run 60-70 miles a week in season and 90+ out of season. I like to use it for tempo work on the roads or hard aerobic runs. I wish I had tried the 903 and 904 to compare this shoe to but it sounds like they were much better and more balanced of a shoe.

These shoes are great! I can see how they probably will not last as long as other running shoes but they are super light and comfortable. These shoes are intending for RUNNING!Best Deals on New Balance Men's MR905 NBX Running Shoe
Pros: are very comfortable and have great support all around the foot. Styling is great. I absolutely love the tongue, its cool how it's sewn in and how it doesn't move around like normal ones.Cons: The shoe laces are so stupid, i got a new pair within 2 days of buying these and that made a big difference. They should come in different colors, something less flashy.
All around a great shoe to buy. By the way i wear 15 2e shoe and have a low arch, and these shoes fit perfectly!
Honest reviews on New Balance Men's MR905 NBX Running Shoe
I wear 2E size 15's and have flat feet. Because of this I wear an insert. Several years ago I bought the previous generation of this line of shoe, The 805. The 805's are an astonishingly sturdy and minimalistic shoe and I have put thousands of miles into them and yet they never wear out. They were intended for middle distance runners who do not want there stride altered. I assumed that these new generation of shoes would be from the same mold with some slight improvements, I was wrong!Pros: The laces are designed for to survive for thousands of hours of running (I have put this to the test). The new stitched tongue on the innerside is genious because it prevents the tongue from moving while you are running.
Cons: They cut down on the weight of this shoe by using a hard foamy material. This material breaks down much more rapidly then the rubber soles the previous generation was made from. The heel is way to built up, forcing you into a rolling gait that is great for some but because of my flat arches it strains my toe tendons within 2 miles. The bright yellow color is hideous as sin.
These shoes deserve a -1 star because they were advertised and priced as a distance training shoe, but the quality of the design is is more that of a 50$ dollar walking shoe
