I got this pair of shoes for a trip to Costa Rica. We did lots of hiking in rainy and muddy conditions and I never lost my footing. Very comfortable and quick drying.

Living in Texas--or anywhere hot and humid, feet get sweaty and Salomon takes care of that. I've had several pairs of their amphibian shoes over the years and like these the best. Salomon still has good arch support built in, or you can add your own orthotic, but what I love about these is that the mesh is cool and allow give for bunions. These are the first pair that I've tried that run large, but it allows the toes more room. Wish this #3 came in other colors--maybe next year, because I will wear these out by then. They work great for street, trail, creek swimmin or muddy bottom kayaking.
