These are great boots. We live in Wisconsin and these boots are the only one's that keep us warm. I have them and so does my son. Last year he thought they were a bit too heavy but this winter he raves about them. They are an excellent quality boot and the weight is part of the protection and warmth they provide.

This boot is amazing. Rated to -25 makes it doable for northern MN winters. Fit is true to size, easy on/off, removable liner. I think it might even outlast my son in the snow....
I would recommend this over competitor products any day. Not only is it rated to a colder temp, but it looks nice and it lasts. Sorel's always last through 2 or 3 kids. Choose it first.

My three kids all agree that these are the most comfortable and warm winter boots we have ever bought. We tried to get a different brand for a change this year, but the kids complained so much about the Kamik boots that we returned them and ordered these again for the 8th year in a row! My boys wear the size boot that their foot measures, because the boots run big.

This boot is great quality and the sizing is good. But the liner inside the boot bunches when my six year old tries to put it on himself. Maybe he will eventually figure out how to pull on the liner to put the boot on but for now I have to fix it every time he puts them on. We are keeping the boot because it is very warm and waterproof. But I just thought someone should mention the liner problem. Also, the blue color is a little purple. It's very unisex but my son does notice it.
