I was desperately searching for a new trail shoe before my 50 miler. My favorite trail shoe was discontinued and I had exhausted every internet source. Normally I buy from the local Zombie Runner store but busy work schedule and limited store evening hours required me to reseach the most likely shoe to fit my wide feet. I purchased 5 pairs of shoes online with the intent of sending the rejects back. This one made the cut and I wore them the next day for my 50 miler. No blisters. Two weeks later I wore them for a 100 miler and 1 small blister. Not too shabby. Works for me.Best Deals on Montrail Women's Bajada Trail Running Shoe
This is my second pair of Bajadas. I originally purchased from my local running shop, and fell in love with them. It made buying a second pair online a no-brainer.(and 1/3 the price). Let me start by saying how important is is to get a shoe that works for your foot and running technique! I suggest finding something in a store before you blindly buy something online-you risk getting a running injury... That being said, I am a neutral runner (no pronation) and have an average width foot. I love these because they are light and nimble, and perform great on all trail terrain. The sole is great, with lots of traction and no gaps for rocks to embed. I like the roomy toe box, which is great for huge descents no bloody feet! I have done trail half marathons in them, and they have stood up beautifully. I have a closet full of old trail shoes, and these are the best I have tried... Happy trails to you-Honest reviews on Montrail Women's Bajada Trail Running Shoe

While I prefer the more robust, stiff broad sole of my Patagonia trail-running shoes, these did all right. The light-weight construction allows the runner to feel more of the rocks and roots in the trail, but also encourages a more nimble step, which may not be a bad thing.I had to add an orthotic for my high arch, but was overall pleased and impressed with the shoes. I'm looking forward to making many, many more miles in them!
