Fast forward 2 months, I've put maaaaaybe 250 miles on these shoes, and the toe is wearing out already. I took them to my local running shop to see what they suggest. They asked me why I was running with support shoes. Apparently the inside support was pushing my feet out, making the side of the shoe wear out faster.
The shoes are comfortable and easy to run in. But they're not neutral, so don't get them unless you need support on the inside of your foot. I'm pretty bummed the reason I wore these out so quickly was because they're labeled incorrectly.

Love this shoe! Lightweight and well designed key pocket in each shoe as well as a hologram. Who can beat that? Before purchasing, I recommend going to the Saucony website and calculating your fit. I normally wear size 8 in my running shoes, but if you type in the shoe that you are wearing currently with the size it will calculate a size for the cortana 2. This worked perfectly.FYI: I have high arches and underpronate. These shoes felt great from the very beginning!

I was looking for a lightweight running shoe and so far the Saucony Cortana 2 is great! I have only run up to 4 miles at a time in these shoes and will have to see how they are on a longer run. However, I did not have that dreaded "cement feet" feeling at all in these, like I had in my last pair (also Saucony). I do like the fit of these shoes: Wide toe box and supportive heel. I got a 10.5 (I normally wear a 9) because of that issue with your toes hitting the end of your shoes if you don't buy a larger size. So I do think it was worth the money. I spent a lot of time trying on different lightweight shoes and think I made a good choice with these.Update: After having these shoes for about a month, I have to say I am disappointed. They are just not working for me at all and since I started using these I have sustained an IT band strain. So, back to my old style of shoes I guess! I was excited about using the lighter weight shoes but there really is no support. I will use them for walking or just at the gym but not for running.
