I am always a 7 1/2 and have bought this brand of shoes before, just not this exact style. I was disappointed when I took them out of the box and could tell that they were going to be too small. These shoes are NOT true to size. They feel like good running shoes despite the fact that they were too small so I hope that a 1/2 size up will be correct.

These shoes have NO arch support. I have had a couple of pairs of Pearl Izumi mt bike shoes that I love, but that love didn't translate to these running shoes. I usually wear an 8.5 in regular running shoes, a 9.0 in minimalist type running shoes. I ordered a 9.5 in these and they were still a half size too small. I could tell they would not be comfortable even in the right size, so they are going back.

Just to confirm what everyone is saying and perhaps provide some guidance. I wear a women's 7.5 in Nike for normal running; an 8 in Nikes for trailing running (since downhills crunch my toes) and am a pretty standard 7.5 all around. I took the advice in the reviews and ordered a half size up in these. 8 = Too Small; re-ordered in 8.5 = TOO SMALL. Now trying to decide if I want to return AGAIN to get a 9. So if you're a comfortable 7.5 in Nikes, go for an 8.5, and so on.

received as a gift and have had to deal with two returns plus extra shipping cost. shoe sizing is off by 1.5 sizes!!! if you wear a 7 order a 8.5. Even so, the toe is narrow and the body is wide. no support to speak of.... the shoe just feels bad all around. i want to return them and give up, however with all the trips to the post office, i think they might deny me this option because it's taken over 30 days with my busy travel schedule. take my advice and don't order this shoe even though they are "cute".

I have attempted to purchase these items, 2 times, I normally wear a size 8 1/2, in regular shoes. So i ordered a size 9 as that is recommended for most sneakers. my 9's came, and were very snug. I sent them back and just received my 9 1/2's STILL really snug. Now I'm ordering a size 10, they are great looking light weight and I'm sure as soon as I get them and start running in them I'll change this to a 4, but I wanted to write a review right away so anyone ordering them will know to order a whole size up from whatever size they normally wear!
