I have the all black Predator X and when I first wore the shoe it took a while to get used to the feel, the boots definitely hugs your feet specially on the sides. On my first touches I felt like I was barefoot and it allows for more precise control, I definitely feel it was part of the design and I noticed during kick ups I have to re-adjust from my previous boots which were the Umbro Speciali. When I first shot at goal from 18 to 20 yards the immediate difference is 30% more power, the power spine really gives that extra power and I was amazed at how smooth my shots became, when striking the ball I feel less vibration and as a result I'm able to follow through my shot and gain more accuracy. I noticed at shorter run ups I can still generate more power by concentrating on technique rather than force, bending the shots are allot easier, top spin is also allot easier to generate and if struck just right I was able to generate so much power and spin that the ball whistles through the air.

I have played soccer for many years and have always bought shoes based on flexibility. This shoes is not as flexible on the sole but it does offer great arch/heel support. For those playing a lot, your arch, heel, and bottom of your foot will appreciate it. I had developed discomfort on my heel and arch, and after i bought this shoe, it greatly improved the pain/discomfort. I love the extra heel protection and Achilles heel protection, if you have even been stepped on the heel, you will appreciate it. Also the leather is sturdy but soft and comfortable at the same time. The leather does stretch a bit, like all leathers. This shoes does really allow for harder and more compact kicks. Great buy.
