I'm a big fan of Saucony, and despite some of the negative reviews I decided to go with it. I ordered the grey/black/pink, size 9 (back in Feb); I have a fairly high arch and normal width. Unfortunately, they are not comfortable or what you'd expect from Saucony. But what's worse, is the two shoes don't even match in toe structure! To describe the fit---when I put these on, it felt like my toes were being pushed forward right up to the edge, worse on one foot than the other (and that was just standing). Not your typical Saucony comfort whatsoever, no pillow cushion feeling. They actually feel like a tilted platform shoe!
I decided to give them a shot and try to break them in a little. Someone said they thought their knee problems went away with these---not so in my case. If you have any ACL problems you'll notice it feels like wearing a platform shoe, pretty bothersome to the ACL...pain behind patella.
One day I finally realized why the fit was so different between left and right---I put them side by side looking down on them and noticed that the structure and seams didn't match between the two shoes! The sole came up way more on one shoe than the other at the toe. Wow, that is the first time I've experienced such poor quality for a brand name running shoe.
My opinion is that it seems there may be a difference in quality across product (when reading the reviews)---if you get lucky you get the well-made version, if not, you get a slightly mismatched pair and extreme tightness in the toes. Hopefully it was just a fluke pair but make sure to inspect when they arrive.
