I have grown to love these. I hike nearly daily on a rocky steep trail, so I rotate this pair with the Columbia trail shoes, but lately I have become a fan of these since the Columbia trail shoes have not held up. The heel has a lot of cushion. In fact I've noticed that the heel has almost a springy quality. I would re-purchase these in the future.

Perfect trail running shoe. Lots of support around foot and the tread helps grip around dirt and rocks. I wear them traveling for those days demanding a lot of walking.
