I read many reviews before I purchased these boots and good thing that I did too because they ran big and I wear a size 101/2 but had to order a size 9 which fits perfect love this color boot goes with shorts and looks great with jeans. I would recommend to others but just keep in mind they run a size bigger. Peace

I just bought a 2012 Honda Ruckus and started looking at a pair of boots to buy. It is recommended that you protect your ankles and wear something with decent soles. I must confess the prices along with the look and overall appeal sold me on buying a pair. So far they are pretty darn comfortable. It takes a little getting used to having your shoe hug your ankle but is to protect you as you ride around. I like them. My only complaint would be the buckle and strap for holding your laces down. It seems a bit flimsy and the have come unbuckled several times already. This is why I didn't give the boots five stars. Maybe time will change me mind but I figure for many people that would be worth noting. I've already gotten one compliment. They do stand out and are very cool looking. I just have a feeling the buckle will end up being a casualty.

This is a nice, lightweight boot that looks good. It's simple and clean and pretty comfortable. A few things I've noticed since I got it:

1. The buckle is useless. It doesn't latch, it's uncomfortable, and it was immediately thrown away. I'm just glad they didn't stitch it directly to the boot.

2. The treads are huge on the sole. They definitely look intimidating, but I won't be bicycle kicking anybody's face anytime soon, so they don't serve much purpose. They DO interfere with my foot controls every once in a while on my motorcycle though. I may need to file down and smooth out some of the corners so they don't get caught up on the foot pegs and shifter. If you ride, this is something to consider.

3. The ankle bone is only protected by thin fabric, not the thick leather. So if ankle protection is what you're after, you may want to find another boot. But, they are covered and the boots are pretty light, so they are comfortable while cruising.

4. I normally wear a 10.5 and got a 10 and they are still too big. If you are going to buy, don't be afraid to go a FULL size smaller.
