Received the boot yesterday and wasn't impressed with the quality of the boot. It looks as though it's a knock off. I've purchased another Ralph Lauren Polo boot and you can really tell the difference between the two. I will not be purchasing anything else from this seller.Polo by Ralph Lauren Hamlin Boot (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid) Review

These particular boots were priced very low at $53 considering their name & style. I've had the gray/black adult Hamlin boot for 2+ years so I knew these were well made and versatile enough to function as my son's primary school shoes for the Fall/Winter. I bought a different style R.L. Polo boot for his older brother, in black, but my wife & I, as well as our oldest son, actually liked these much more. Unlike my adult Hamlin boots, these have extra reinforcement around the heel area, that adds to the boots' durability. The strap & buckle are actually velcro making them much easier for a child to don & remove but the velcro will deteriorate quickly if constantly undone (can't have it all I guess). They're water-'resistant' not at all water-'proof' (nor does the manufacturer or seller claim otherwise). For $75 they're worth that price and 4 stars (also cheaper & sharper than any 'Jordan') but for the $53 I paid, they're 5-star premium boots all day long.
