Asics are always good shoespurchased for my son, he is really hard on shoes, but they lasted a good amount of time, and were really comfortable for him.

Light-weght, durable shoes with very good traction on the most of surfaces in most of the conditions. The kid enjoys it very much.

My daughter had to buy black shoes for her team uniform. Unfortunately, the stitching started to come undone after about 30-40 times wearing them. She jumps rope and runs around in them. The seams on the front are coming out. There is too much sewn fabric to really stand up to a kid's life. Also, they hurt her heels if she wears them for more than 2 hours at a time.

She has a pair of New Balance running shoes that she wears daily, and they look better than these. Also, the New Balance do not hurt her heels.

We bought these for my daughter when her preschool changed the mulch to tire pieces. I noticed that all her shoes were coming home black and needed to be washed every weekend. I looked everywhere for nice black sneakers but didn't find any in the stores. When I finally decided to look in amazon, we found these. She loves them, and I love that I don't need to wash these as often. Although my daughter outgrows her shoes every 4 months, and I'm now having to buy another $54 pair, I do love these. They are comfortable for her, and stylish. These are great pair of shoews. I just wish there were a little cheaper.
