I like the way the Asic shoes fit there was always enough room in the foot area and your toes were not all scrunched together when the laces were tied correctly and the shoes were on your feet. This particular model of shoe seems to run almost two sizes to narrow, now I know this to be true because I have a previous pair of Asic shoes and the soles on the shoes don't even come close to matching. The shoe I was comparing it to was a standard sized and width shoe, the new shoe was a wide shoe and it was still narrower and you can feel it when you wear it. I had tried on Asic shoes in a store but they did not have an all black shoe so I found this one on Amazon.com and ordered it in a wide knowing the shoes in the store were narrower than the prevous model I had, but when they arrived they were still narrower than the other shoes I had been wearing.

Just received them today, very good looking. Nowadays, running shoes are way too funky in color and it is hard to find a good looking shoes without too funky colors or patterns. The color I bought is Storm/Lightning/Limeade.
I put them on and ran inside house, very comfortable, fit my feet very well. Can't wait to see how they go when running on the road and treadmill.
I own many ASICSs, GT 1000 2 is not the lightest but the weight is acceptable.

These go in the suitcase for the around the around the world trips. They are light, the material drys fast in the tropics. Fit as expected. I bought a second pair.
