I don't really have foot issues, but I was looking for a good walking shoe for three purposes: 1) to change into after work for a 3-4 mile walk home, 2) to wear in the hospital (where I'm on my feet all day in scrubs, running around mostly like a chicken with her head cut off.) Due to aesthetic snobbery, I refuse to wear clogs, or, shudder, Crocs. Besides, I wanted something that I could also wear outside the hospital, on a casual street hike or with workout wear.
This shoe is great it's comfortable, fits relatively true to size, and is an inconspicuous. It's also not terribly ugly like my first orthopedic-looking white ones. They are comfortable, are elevated and have the characteristic curved front that's supposed to give you the "workout" I'm not sure about that part, but all I know is that they feel great to walk on.
In short, I highly recommend. They're much cheaper than your snobby Dansko and more versatile to boot. I've even worn them for more grueling hikes and they've been great!

I wear size 10 Skecher Shape-ups and when I saw these for $30 I bought 2 pairs. I ordered size 10 and they are labeled size 10 but I could barely get my feet in. The overall length of the shoes are a 1/2 inch shorter than my other pairs. I'm really disappointed that I missed out on such a good deal because of the sizing difference.Best Deals on Skechers Women's Evolution Lace-Up Sneaker
