I have been wearing this brand/type of insole for many years. My last two pairs have fallen apart in 6 months. I still have the original pair that I bought years ago, which I retired to a pair of work boots. Comparing the two, I noticed how much their quality has decreased. They now use a fabric top, which comes apart. The foam isn't their old foam but some cheap crap that chunks out. They still use the same supports, and I like those, but everything else is much cheaper.

I am switching to SOF Sole.

It is excellent. I had to do some modifications since the inside of my shoe was much smaller. But, when I got it trimmed it was awesome.

Before I wore this insole I would get shooting pain down my legs related to back issue (nerves pinched in the back) after I do 1500+ foot climbs in my local mountains. Every time I used to climb down I used to feel there was no shock absorbing happening with my old insoles, and it was like stepping down to solid concrete and you feel every step. After these insoles things got a lot better and immediately the pain was reduced/gone.

I would highly recommend these insoles.

These insoles work well in most shoes. They not as comfortable as the SofSole deluxe graphite orthotic, but I can't find that one anymore, and these are less expensive.
