These are what they are gym rat shoes for shuffling weights and doing some serious calisthenics in... I don't think they qualify as something you'd want to run more than a mile or so in. I snagged these up when they were on sale and I'm extremely pleased with the quality and performance. I wear a wide shoe and these really are great and roomy.

I purchased these shoes because Consumer Reports had them ranked as a Best Buy and I am very happy with them. They are very comfortable and great for walking. I took them with me on a vacation two days after I received them and found them to be very comfortable right out of the box. I intend to buy another pair very soon.

I have big feet "13 4E" and I have a hard time finding a Training Shoe that is wide enough. I had been wareing New Balance for years but I find ASICS are a little bigger aroung the toe area. This is my thrid pair and they are great for the gym, walking and casuale wear. Well made and nice looking.
