I have a hard to fit size (narrow) and my choices are limited. New Balance is a maker I have been counting on for shoes that fit. The 621 was replaced by the 622, but when I find shoes that fit I usually buy more than one pair so I have some for the future. The down side is they may change or discontinue the model. The 624 is the successor to the 621 which I really liked, but I had to break out my last pair so I got these. Fortunately they are a worthy successor... I am happy.Best New Balance Men's 624 Cross Training Shoe Leather Deals

If you have wide flat feet you know how hard it can be to get shoes. I normally buy new balance because they tend to have neutral soles (mostly flat and not too narrow) and they have a good variety of wide shoes. Most times I need to get a 1/2 size larger to get a comfortable fit. I got a 12 6e and they are very roomy. The only other shoe that fit me well was a Drew 11 1/2 6e "boulder" hiker (about $200) but those are simply too spendy and not quite so nice for athletics. My only dislike of this shoe is like most trainers they are not ventilated well like a running shoe. My feet do get a little too warm during a cardio workout.
