The XT Wings2 have become my running shoe of choice. They cradle my high arches, provide just enough stability and pronation control without being rigid, and perform well on trail. I'm on my second pair, and honestly, I run all my runs in these shoes--even road and treadmill workouts--because I have been unable to find another running shoe that works as well for me. And the lacing system is brillant--don't listen to those naysayers who still believe a double knot is the way to go. The ripcord laces allow for easy adjustments of tightness and YOU NEVER HAVE TO STOP TO TIE YOUR SHOE.

Women's size 12 shoes are hard to find and often run small, but these shoes are true to size and fit great. I do a lot of walking in the city as well as in the country and they hold up well, too. I'm on probably my 6th pair (over about 3 years), and I can't think of a better endorsement than that.

Pros: Has great stability and traction. Good for tough terrain full of roots, rocks and hills. Supports my 3Xbroken foot and allows me to log tons of miles without arch pain. Has a tough toe box so that accidentally kicking rocks is not as painful as it might otherwise be. Speaking of the toe box, it is wide and allows for spreading of the toes. The heel is snug and craddles nicely.

Cons: Laces will work themselves loose, so you have to tighten them occasionally. These shoes work OK on gravel jeep trails, but are not good on paved roads.
