While these shoes look great and my son loves them, I am very disappointed with this purchase. We have been buying Skechers for my son since he started walking, because they are great for wider feet. He is now six and this is the first pair that haven't held up. Within a week, the green sole was coming unglued from the shoe, near the toe. I would not buy this style again, and unfortunately, I will have to buy another pair of shoes for him right away.

My oldest is now wearing the largest size of kid's Skechers and I am very nervous about finding him shoes once he outgrows these. His mantra, taught to him by his 32 yr old uncle, is that you should never have to tie or untie your shoes. Skechers have allowed him to live him by that, while still holding up to the beating that my hyperactive kid puts them through.

These shoes are a disappointment. I bought them for my 12 year old. He has only worn them for 3 months & they are already worn out. The bottom resembles Styrofoam, the sides are thin & debris gets in too easily. Overall poor quality for the price.

He loves that the look like laces but are still Velcro. He says the tread helps him run faster. Lol! They were perfect and great shipping.

My son calls these his "fast runner shoes" lol! They are very light-weight and he loves them! So far they have with-held the "kid test", as he has worn them everyday to school in the last month (I can't get him to wear a different pair lol). I haven't seen any areas coming apart or fraying which is a good sign. They are true to size and fit him well; he has flat fleet so finding shoes is always a challenge. I am definitely pleased with this model of Skechers.
