I love these shoes. They are easy on and easy off and very comfortable. I almost feel like I'm barefoot when I wear them except that my feet are protected. I can see where the front inner seam might catch on nails but since I keep mine trimmed I don't have a problem with it. They are definitely are not a winter shoe. And the people that complain they stink after they wear them, those people must have missed the part about the shoes being machine washable in cool water, gentle cycle and air-dry. I have them in black and they are very versatile. I've worn them with sweats as well as with a nice dress to a wedding. I want to get a red pair too. I definitely recommend them to someone who wants a simple, cute shoe, barefoot or with stockings.

I love having a minimal shoe for kids that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. The velcro enclosure makes it really easy to get on and off too. My daughter has Asperger's and she can't stand to wear regular gym shoes with all of the padding. This style of shoe works so well for her because she gets all of that additional input from the ground through the minimal shoe. I just wish I hadn't purchased a little large because it ended up being larger than I wanted but she was so in love with the shoe that I couldn't get it off her foot to return for a smaller size!
