This shoe is fantastic IF it is the right shoe for you foot/stride type. I have over 100 running miles on these shoes so far and they have been great. Of course, I went to a REAL shoe store and got properly fitted for them. Always fit before fashion if they are going to be shoes you will be very active in. I have a neutral pronation, meaning I don't tend to over or under pronate. If you do over or under pronate these shoes most likely will not be for you. No complaints at all from me. Saucony is a good brand. Again, get fitted properly before buying running shoes. And I don't mean just measuring your size. A good running shoe store will look at your pronation too. And your pressure areas.

I love the Saucony brand and have worn the Ride since the original shoe hit stores. I have had two pair of the Ride 5 and love them. I know other reviews noted that the shoe broke down easier than others which is somewhat true but it is also a pretty light weight shoe so I felt like that is just expected. I got around 250-300 miles in the first pair before they started breaking down which seemed pretty good to me.

The shoe fits perfect. Love that the toe isn't boxy like other models. I usually wear a size 9 and the 9 fits true to size. Happy running!

This is my third pair of Saucony Ride 5 and I love them. I am a size 8 sandal but always wear a 9 runner. The medium width is good for my foot and I have quite narrow feet. I also put my orthotics in them and when you put the laces in the extra loop you can pull the laces tighter and your heel won't slip. i.e. put lace from left side down left extra hole and then put right lace through the loop you created with the left lace. Do the same on the right side!

This is my third pair of Saucony Pro Grid Ride shoes My feet love them, and as long as they continue to make 'em, I'll continue to wear 'em. The Pro Grid Ride 5 a very comfortable neutral running shoe and is pretty durable. I am not a runner, but am on my feet all day, and my feet appreciate the cushioning and support these shoes provide.
