The shoes are very comfortable and eye catching. I plan to use them as cross-training shoes at the gym. I'm a size 8 in Saucony and Brooks, but these NB's seemed slightly snug around my toes so I'll just have to wear thin socks to circumvent that. Otherwise they're great!

I already had a pair of these that wore out after a year of training on my own and being on my university's XC team but I loved them so much I bought another pair in blue!! I have high arches and I run an average of 30 miles per week and these shoes are lightweight--they do the trick for me :) I might just buy another pair once I run through these. I will say that as a poor college student, the price is nothing less than painful but I'd rather pay the extra money for a good pair of shoes than risk injury with old shoes. I would definitely recommend these for running (in any capacity--short or long distance).

I can see how some people think they fit small, but they fit comfortably for me. Then again, I prefer my running shoes to be a little on the tight side, so I guess that's something to keep in mind.
