Review of Merrell Women's Avian Light Sport

I've had three pairs of Merrell sneakers so far and they are very comfortable. I have a history of stiffness in my feet and numbness in a few toes. Therefore, most sneakers are too stiff and confining. Merrell's are flexible, yet they offer great support and stability, better than any I've tried before. Instead of teetering on rocks and gravy when I walk in the woods I can feel the contour of the terrane and have better balance. My feet don't get tired even on long walks. Also, the style and colors are eye catching with a hint of femininity but w/o being pretentious or too bright. They blend with your clothing without overwhelming.

I love Merrell shoes. This was my third pair; I wanted something different than the Siren Sports but this felt cheaper. The shoelaces were more slippery and didn't stay tied tight, the lace up slots were plastic hooks and seemed like they would break easily and they didn't have as much comfort.

I love Merrell's! They usually fit very well even though I have a wide foot. I read the reviews on this shoe and went with a 9. rather than an 8.5, which is my usual size with Keens and other Merrell's. This show was stiff and wide around the toe area and a bit long. I returned them.
