I've always used very thick cushiony runny shoes and developed a nasty case of plantar fasciatis that over a year of not running to cure. I had a doctor friend who is also a marathon runner who recommended that I try a much lighter, less cushioned show, and recommended this shoe in particular. So far, so good...

You want these shoes. I was comparing several minimalist shoes. I tried on the Nike Free's (they suck horribly) and when I tried these on, I fell in love. I bought them on Amazon because they were about $15 cheaper than in stores. I highly recommend.
