This shoe is listed as a "running shoe" but you can't run in clogs. I assume they are referring to the cushy EVA midsole and the hard rubber outer sole which gives it a running shoe-like feel and wear.

This is my 3rd pair of the NB 801 and I'm delighted that they now make a 10 1/2. No more having to jump from a 10 to an 11 even if it's too big. This is a smart move by New Balance and other companies should follow suit.

The 801 has a nice leather upper which is longwearing and molds to your foot over time. I've tried other brands in the slip-on style and some like the Solomon have a lighter, mesh material top but it tore open in a summer. I can get at least two years of indoor wear from the NB 801 and the price is reasonable. It's the best fitting, most comfortable mule out there and has a nice removable inner sole with mild arch support that you can wash. It's the best bang for the buck available.

I love the mule type of sneaker. This is perfect for airport security and for your vacation. I also use these sneakers when shopping they are easy to take off and on. They look cool too!

I am happy with this shoe. I have a bum knee and it holds my leg straight. Also like the cushioned sole. Like walking on clouds. It doesn't have a lot of arch support. It's a little long for me but 6 D is the closest I've come in a while to my 5 1/2 WW foot. I really like being able to slip them on and off when I sit down. They're labeled running shoes but I don't do much of that anymore. I'm 70.

For a while, I was unable to find the 801 mules. I bought a few pairs years ago and wore them into the ground. Once I found them again on Amazon, I purchased several pairs. The great thing is the ease of use and the comfort. Just slip them on and go. These are great for extended walking whether for exercise or running errands. Not suitable for running, but all other activities (biking, walking, etc.) are fine.
